We are finally home! We arrived in Nashville last night about 8:30. It was quite an adventure - a life changing adventure. Thank you to all of our family and friends who missed us, and prayed for us. I can't wait to share with you all of the pictures and the stories. As soon as we catch our breath I will start writing. I really hope you kept up with us through Russ' Blog . Why We Visit
Why do we visit a third world country?
The people are poor and sometimes hungry.
We've found them sleeping on rocky dirt floors,
and even seen their bodies covered with sores.
We line people up as far as you can see,
And we try really hard to meet a few of their healthcare needs.
We even have bible studies with some,
and we usually baptize at least one.
We hope and pray that they're better off for us having been there,
And can see how much we really and truly do care.
The people in this third world country are content and rich with God's love.
Just for the grace he sends them from above.
If the truth of the matter were really known,
We go again and again for the genuine love that we're shown.
