Refreshed

I am refreshed this morning and my faith in humanity is somewhat renewed. There are indeed many good Godly men and women still left in this world who are not swayed or manipulated by the extremist. Their gentle heart and Christ- like character have always been evident, it was just with all of the noise, clutter, and dust being stirred up by the extremist it was sometimes easy to overlook.
God is good. God is in control. God's children still exist. It's a great day.

How good and pleasent it is when brothers live together in unity.
It is like precious oil poured on the head,
running down on the beard,
running down on Aaron's beard,
down on the collar of his robes.
It is as if the dew of Hermon
were falling on Mount Zion.
For there the Lord bestows his blessing,
even life forever more. Psalm 133

We must all remember to have faith in one another and most of all the one in charge. We will overcome.

No, he was asked to remove it. Why are you anonymous???? Are you hiding something?

For everyone that is reading this blog, here is part of Gary’s last post taken from the blog “Blessed by God and Still Learning”:

“Today the Columbia Academy board of directors, acting as henchmen for two campus Bible teachers and one or two disgruntled preachers in the area, fired five Godly, dedicated teachers who's only flaw was where in town they choose to worship. The board singled out the five teachers and and tried to force them to sign a discriminatory agreement that none of the other teachers were shown, much less asked to sign. In the days and weeks to come the truth behind this action will surface. In the mean time I plead for your prayers on behalf of these five innocent Christians who have not only lost their livelihood, but have been deeply wounded emotionally by this un-Christ like betrayal.

I ask that you pray for Columbia Academy as well. There are tears being shed on both sides of this issue tonight. There are still many kind, Godly, people at Columbia Academy who tried their best to stop this insanity. However, this time the extremist were just too loud and too deeply entrenched in the system. The public firestorm that has already started is predicted to burn out of control for the next several weeks. The collateral damage is expected to be high. The truth must be told, but I pray that somehow it will be done in a way as to not permanently hurt CA or the cause of Christ in Maury County.”

I’m glad that the truth came out that these teachers were not fired. Looking at Gary’s post it looked like they weren’t given a choice. Also, I think the people who call this action by CA “un-Christ like” need to look at Jesus cleansing the temple.

PS: Peg, Maybe they are anonymous because they don’t want the “loving” members at MH to attack them personally, like they have done John Thomas, Gregg Elrod, Kerry Karris, and many CA board members.

To the person afraid of being "attacked",

Do you really think that you are accomplishing anything noble? Do you think than anyone outside of your elite circle of those good enough for salvation believes your intentions are pure and good? It is very clear that you are not being attacked because YOU ARE ON THE OFFENSE HERE. If you were being attacked, Gary would be on your blog.

BTW, you won't understand this and will probably reply with further antics about the so-called blasphemous people at MH (who I am not one of) and thus prove my point even further.

For the life of me I do not understand why you remain unknown but yet post untrue and unchristian like remarks. I do not live there and I am going on what I am reading on this and other blogs. Were these people approached by the board about their choice of Church?? Is there or is there not a "chosen church" that they must attend in order to keep their jobs? Is this lies? I also got on line and read the paper in your town. Was that a lie also?? Your choice of words may not be the same as Garys but it all comes down to the same point. These chosen few were given an ultimatum period!! It is pretty obvious of whom is doing the attacking. If you don't like what is being said then why are you tormenting us all with your blah, blah, blah??

Proud to sign my name and not afraid of your attacks.

Christian in Arkansas,
Peggy

I just want to say (well there is alot I want to say but won't...)If mr./ms?? anonymous thinks that what he/she is doing is helping the situation any..I pray for you that you let God back into your heart...because I for one am so sickened and discouraged and tired of this sick little game you seem to want to play over and over and over again....

First off this a personal blog and the author can speak what he wants when he wants...at the time that post was written that was what he was feeling and nothing in that post was untrue (he already apologized for the henchmen remark..oh how soon we forget that he did something good when all you seem to notice is the bad and then dwell on it over and over)...and I also am tired of people that have little or 2nd hand knowledge of things getting on people's personal blogs of all places and attacking the ones I love!!!

You can call out names mr./ms. ??anonymous that you think are the victims here all you want but do not ever think that atleast one of the people you mention is not the worst at being deictful and "calling people" out in a public way without knowing the facts or changing them to fit his purpose...he did alot a damage here in town lately and has lost respect of alot a people..me included!! What was said here on this blog was not dishonest (i think that is why it stepped on your toes so bad) you need to look at it for what it was and that was one mans feelings/opinions which he is entitled to...just like you are..BUT THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE that man is big enough to rethink and relook and take a step back and let God be in control...

Please stop getting on here if all you are here for is too look and see what there is now that you can jump up and down about and call out people that have more love and good in them then you have yet to show...

There are ways to approach everything and that is with grace and with the love of God...and we are all human and we say things sometimes before we really stop and think and pray about it...but there is always a way to fix what is done and I for one am thankful that my God is big enough to fix anything that I might mess up and he is always there when I need him and he will never let me down...and guess who taught me all of this mr./ms ?? anonymous??? that is right this very man you are so hateful towards and I for one am thankful for him!!!
